Fellowship

And all who believed were together and
had all things in common.
Acts 2:44

Congregational Gatherings: The fellowship committee organizes the Men's cook-off, Easter breakfast, and the Harvest Feast. A yearly summer picnic is also a great day of fellowship.

The Good Shepherd "Good Enuf Dancers":  There are two dance clubs:
The line dancers meet Tuesdays and dance for about an hour and a half. The success of this class has caused it to be closed to persons from outside the congregation to ensure that there will always be room for Good Shepherd members who join in the future.
The partner dancers meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons at 3pm. The dances are mainly partner type dances but singles are very welcome and have fun when they come. Please come and join us.

Ladies Cards: The ladies gather to play pinochle. See the what's happening section for further info.

Secret Sisters: Has been part of Good Shepherd Church for many years and involves all the women in the church who wish to join. A form is sent in and the names are chosen for the year. The secret sister's members are to send a card/postcard each month to their secret sis expressing thier good wishes and the enjoyment of sending them. On the holidays and special days that the women have indicated on their form, they would like special prayers said for them. In the case of needs to addressed, we would respond as sisters do. In December we have a special meeting to meet our sister where gifts are exchanged and potluch lunch is held.

Softball: Early summer finds a few church members as well as community members joinig in the Parks and Rec Co-ed Softball League. The season starts in May and continues through early August with typically one or two games a week. Games are usually held at Tydeman or Optimist Parks during the early evening hours and all are welcome to come and cheer on the "Joy Squadron."
